That's it, it shouldn't hurt. I'd wait longer than a month. If you wait long enough inbetween stretching it shouldn't hurt to do it.

90% of people do it wrong then. lots of them seem to heal fine.

But like it's already been explained already, it can seem fine and then you'll have problems later on because you've done it too quick. For example, I have stretched my ears from 1mm to 20mm and it's taken me a few years. I always clean and moisturise them every day, I use vitamin e oil, I leave months inbetween stretching. My left ear is fine but the right has a slight blow out or whatever you call it on the back of it. I'm not entirely sure how you get rid of those. But I may have stretched that one too quickly. I never had any pain etc when stretching but I'm having problems with it now.

Thanks for that added to my mental bank of stretching info, hehe!

Yes 90% of people do, do it wrong. That is why we are here trying to help you avoid their mistakes. For those people you think 'seem' to heal fine have you ever seen their lobes without their tunnels in? Or bothered to look behind their earlobe to see if its bulging out the other side? Or asked if their holes look a bit like having a vagina on their ear?

You may not want to believe you have done it wrong. You may not want to believe you have a problem. That's fine. But doesn't it make you wonder why several piercing enthusiasts and a professional piercer with more knowledge about this sort of thing that you have are all singing from the same hymn sheet?

You asked for help. We have given it. If you don't follow it that is your problem. I, for one, wish you and stretching well for I don't see the point of arguing the toss with you as you don't seem to want an alternative point of view.

Downsize and start putting in your plugs / tunnels backwards. Do a daily oil massage on them with the plugs out, using circular motions and vitamin e or bio oil hopefully you should be able to encourage the skin back inside (Although this method works best with a fresh blow out). If that doesn't work and you want it removed there are several modification artists who specialise in scalpeling or cauterising the tissue away but if its only small chances are you may be able to encourage it back in!

Thanks, I'm already doing that. As soon as I realized what it was I downsized. It slowly seems to be improving with the oil massages. As for deadrabbits, thats what Im saying, it doesnt have to hurt for you to have problems later on with them.

True, everyone's bodies are different, but the fact of the matter is you went from a 16g to a 8g in a matter of a few weeks, something that has taken me nearly a YEAR to do. You're ears have little to no chance of actually being healthy. Sure, you're body is different than mine, you might have a better immune systems, and be better at healing wounds, but regardless of that, you stretched way to fast, and even if our bodies are different, I seriously doubt your ears are healthy. You did it more than a bit fast.

I'm taking kuku's stance on this. You have three pages of people telling you what you need to do to make your ears healthy, not just seem healthy, and yet you ignore us. So now, I'm going ignore you. You obviously don't want to listen, so I'm not going to say anything. Good luck with your ears.

tbh i rushed mine, i feel so guilty, i waited around 2 months between 3 and 4mm and will wait as long as it takes to get to 5 but i did 1.2 to 3 in one go. it hurt like f*ckery. lol. hope i haven't caused myself any long term damage by doing it. but i dont mind if they dont shrink again b/c i can deal with 4mm holes.
