Cool will help more with swelling, think about what you'd do with a sprained and swollen ankle, you'd stick frozen peas on it right?
Same idea just different part of the body!!

i never thought of that! i will try it. also there is a bump on it. its skin colored and you cant see it but you can kind of feel it. i am not sure if it is part of the swelling or if there really is a bump. should i put tea tree oil on it or will the soaks take care of that as well?

    How new is the piercing?
Remember tea tree is not ideal for new piercings, yes it's natural but it's too harsh for fresh fistulas. Chamomile is a more gentle natural anti imflammatory, so it will tackle both the swelling and the bump!!

Chamomile is one of the best things for bumps!!!

    2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months?
Sweetie I think you missed something off that first sentence! lol

Chamomile will help with the bump, that's normally what you see it recommended for on this forum but it also helps with swelling because of it's anti imflammatory properties!
I'd ditch the tea tree oil and stick with chamomile!!

At two months old I'd say that piercing is too fresh for tea tree oil, so stick with the chamomile!
Use the tea bags to form a compress as well as soaking and you should see a quicker result!
    Glad we've managed to help!

Can you put up a new photo, see if anyone can identify it?
