    Default Vegans & Vegetarians

    Hello,

I haven't spotted a similar thread, so thought I'd start one to talk about eating meat, not eating meat, finding that gorgeous pair of vegan shoes, and so on and so forth. Maybe even share some recipes?

    Let's get started!

There have been a few of these before, but they tend to end up in huge arguments and getting closed :/
Good luck for this one though ><

I recently decided to go vegan after being vegitarian for nine years..and I have some good recipes. They're hard to share, though, because I don't have exact amounts..I just eye it until it tastes right.

However, Falafel is your friend (:
If I talk to my friend later, I can get her cookie recipe, and she has a vegan burger recipe as well..

Haha, I thought as much... let's keep it friendly Becca, I have a similar dream of opening a vegan cafe!
Ooh, I've been working on a vegan lasagne recipe, so will type that up and post.

I eat meat, I have very little qualms with wearing fur, leather, etc. I priorities my own enjoyment and quality of life over that of the existence and treatment of animals, unless it's an animal that belongs to me. Thought I might as well be one of the odd ones out in a thread that I can imagine is going to be filled with animal sympathisers

Just made vegan brownies...If they turn out good (waiting for them to cool) I'll post the recipe I used, here

Is anyone experienced with making falafel burgers? I keep making them and they taste fine, I just wish they would fall apart less..

Word, they exist to serve us. Although I'd have thought a Druid would be more sympathetic towards them to be frank!
If animals weren't meant to be eaten then they wouldn't be made of food.

    Lifting big, getting bigger.

No use for an imaginary friend.

Most Druids, Pagans and Wiccans i know; including myself eat meat :p

I can easily go days without meat though, i regularly choose the veggie option when eating out and other than bacon would probably eat very little of it at home if i didnt cook for my boyfriend every night. I very much doubt i could go vegan though, i love dairy products too much. I have loads of respect for people that do though.
    So far i have......

    Left lobe 1x 1.2 1x 5mm
    Right lobe 1x 1.2 1x 1.6
    Right tragus
    Right helix
    Nose
    Left side of lip
    Tongue
    Left industrial
    Right Nipple

    Tattoos

8 pentagrams down left side of my back
Tree of life on left arm
    RAF Pin-up on right leg
Triple moon goddess symbol on left forearm
Horned God symbol on right forearm

i keep telling myself i will get round to being vegan at some point, but moneys a pretty big issue and i'm kinda picky enough being veggie atm
intresting thread tho, hope it doesn't turn into a big debate like the others have
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.
