I think I know what I'm going to be making tomorrow...

Do you use an egg replacer to bind, Becca? I always find that stuff is never enough, so I've started to blend TVP style burgers etc with silken tofu, but I think that'd probably ruin the texture of falafel :(

for anyone who wants a good recipe book for vegetarian/vega recipes then i would most definatley reccomend the cranks recipe book although having said that most of te recipes in it are more suitable for vegetarians than vegans but i'm sure that the recipes can be adapted by replacing any dairy products in them with soya alternatives...
and i dont know about anyone else but if i'm cooking vege stuff then i tend to go for middle eastern type stuff, i have a lovely recpe for stuffed aubergines if any one is interested? as well as things like hummus, moutabel, falafel, etc etc and i have a recipe for a vegan trifle whichis pretty damn tasty
btw i should probably mention that i'm not a proper vegetarian as i do eat fish i believe pescatarian is the correct term? however i have several friends who are vegan/vegetarian and i was bought up around vegetarian food as my mum used to be vegetarian untill 3 years ago...

I'm definately going to start eating a more vegetarian diet when I go back to uni in September. I don't really eat that much meat as it is, so cutting it out won't be a problem. The only problem I'd have would be giving up the Burger King and McDonalds that I have every now and then. :/

Word, they exist to serve us. Although I'd have thought a Druid would be more sympathetic towards them to be frank!
If animals weren't meant to be eaten then they wouldn't be made of food.

I'm veggie all the time and vegan most of the time. I am going back to being fully vegan tomorrow. I do it for environmental, animal and health reasons. I don't mind what anyone else does; it's my decision after all

I have found that as a binder a tablespoon of soy flour is very good at replacing egg. Works well in a pancake. There was a vegan recipes thread somewhere ... found it! Here it is: https://www.bodyjewelleryshop.com/fo...ighlight=vegan That had some good recipes in it too.
