Yeah that's a good point, if you get migraines you shouldn't be on microgynon, it's one of the reasons I was taken off it. You really should take that up with your GP

My implant took exactly a week for the fifty two day period to stop.
And I'm now aware about the migraine situation, but I wasn't at the time (despite having thoroughly-or so I thought- researched before I had my appointment). Doc didn't even ask about migraines, and it SHOULD have been on my history as a different doctor tried to medicate me for migraines when I wasn't suffering migraines at the time, I was actually ill (long story) if that makes sense. That medication also had an adverse effect on me, on the lowest dose possible to give which is another factor making me want to go the non-hormonal route really. Not that I'm confusing medication and hormone treatments (or however you should say it) but I've noticed my body is not a fan of being messed with!
But all he did was check my blood pressure and prescribe them. :-s

But thanks :-) I really do appreciate a second opinion! (and third, and fourth- my mum gave me hers too!!)

Does anyone find that their veins are more visible while on the pill? I feel like my legs and wrists look like roadmaps now and I can't think of what else would be the cause, unless it's from taking garlic supplements (garlic is a natural blood thinner). I've only been on the pill for two months though.

everytime I go to my doctor she keeps trying to get me to go on the implant or injection. It's so annoying. I'm finally on a pill that suits me. Periods only last 2 days, deffo lighters, no mood swings and I don't feel rough on it, but mercilon is a very low dose pill

Trovium? It's meant to mimic the natural hormone cycle (which pills normally lose) but its so rare three chemists don't stock it 'but can order it in for five this evening for me' as I'm not near my house as I have a string of appointments in this area, that doesn't help! We shall see when I obtain it :-)
    Edit: trinovum sorry!
Managed to obtain some; but not die for any til wednesday...

They wouldn't do it because they said they've put it in way too deep in my arm and I was in such a state that they were reluctant to try and get it out.
