It is quite weird though because my diet is pretty iron rich (cereals, leafy greens, nuts etc), could well be stress/anxiety affecting it, but my GP will no doubt explain it more to me.
I've been turned away for the same too, it was kinda annoying but I guess they have to stick to their rules :(

Yeah I get it but it does seem a flipping long time to make sure! It's quite frustrating for me as due to personal reasons I do like donating, but hopefully next year I will be in a position to do so.
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

I know, it shocked me at how long I'd have to wait. After that I tried again but they just kept saying all their sessions were full...then they'd email me constantly begging me to go.

    So confusing :(

Not been able to go as I've been pierced/tattooed way too often in the past few years. Once I'm settled I'll give it another go.

If it weren't for donors my mum wouldn't be alive today, I have mega respect for people who go to donate!!

Yeah, they weren't busy today really, which made me even more annoyed I was turned away. I know they always do need more people to donate, but then a lot that are willing aren't able to! I've only been able to give twice, I was severely anemic when I was 17, and from then on i've been getting pierced and tattooed, so likewise, I haven't been in a position to. Sod's law now I want to I can't really. I have massive amounts of respect for people who give also, it's a wonderful thing to do.
