It's most likely due to the sheer number of new people with new (to you) germs you'll have come into contact with since you started uni, I think I had a cold for a good month or two to start off with!

Home sick from work today, think last night's take away might have been to blame..

^Thanks. I went to a walk-in health centre today (the university health service was all booked-up) and was told it was just a cough, which is good because I thought it was a chest infection or something.

You're probably ping-ponging it around your flat, you'll each get it, mutate it a little and it'll hop back to someone else. Loads of fruit/veggies and honey and lemon in hot water will help

Was so utterly exhausted yesterday (after a perfectly fine amount of sleep) that I had a 2 hour nap early evening, which then led to me not going to sleep until 8am this morning, woke at 11am with a shoulder so tense it's driving me insane. Might try and get some more sleep in a mo. Fed up of all this now.

And to top it off I've got a letter pushing back my rheumatology appointment again but this time by a month. I could cry.

I have a cut on my hand from when I fell over last night, and I'm kind of concerned about it. The area around the cut is quite swollen and I can see and feel something grey underneath my skin, so I think I might have something stuck there. I'm not sure how I could get it out if I do have something there, though. I've tried pushing on it but nothing has happened and touching the area around the cut really hurts. :/

I'd go to a walk in centre/GP - Get a nurse to take a look at it/take out whatever is in there.

Where did you fall over? Might give an idea to what's in the wound.

Thanks, I'm waiting in a walk in centre at the moment. I fell over inside and near the entrance of a club.

Being investigated for IBS or Coelic. I finally decided my stomach bloating WAS something I should go to the health centre for and I gave a load of samples and I guess we're gonna see what it comes back with.

For time being I was suggested to look at the low-FODMAP food lists and sticking to them really does seem to make a difference. Like, pretty much all the stuff in sushi is fine, and I don't bloat up from that. It's a crying shame that onion and garlic are so bad though, I love those more than anything.
