It might be because I don't have central heating in my house though. Well, I do, I just can't afford to fill up my oil tank (it's like €100/€200 for the minimum). So I use my fireplace and halogen heaters. It can get into the minus for very long periods of time and sometimes without warning, so yeah... XP

Aye we don't have central heating either - there's no mains gas to our row and we're the only house without an oil-fired system :/ we've got storage heaters and a wood-burning stove.
Before this house we were in a studio flat with one heater lol.

Oil central heating is standard around here - though next door have a wood burning stove (which is popular too). My house did have one but got removed at some point - just the concrete slab it stood on remains, unfortunately. I just get firelogs and move the heaters around.

I just had a fireplace in my previous place - in the living room. It was a one floor cottage set up (my previous studio flat in England was bigger and warmer. Lol) All the damp had been painted over, and when I realised it was too late, but luckily we got moved quick as it was effecting my sons asthma.

We have white meter heating and we can't afford to run it, it costs us ~3.50-4 per day to heat one radiator so we rely on a portable gas heater and a small electric fan heater which we only really use in the living room or study depending on where we are, sometimes nick pops the gas heater in our room in the mornings lol! I currently have a jar of emu oil (normally I get those white squeezy bottles free from BAF) so I'm interested to see if/when it solidifies!

Luckily I get a fuel allowance in the winter seeming as I'm on Disability, but even then I have to be careful. If it wasn't for that though we'd probably all freeze (except the terrapin whose tank is heated 24/7). Lol.

    And on topic:

Got Kaos UV earskins in! I always try and get a pair for each stretch, but I got stuck with pink ones at 8mm's. I hate pink too. I stretched to 9mm's with GWS white on translucent blue jellyfish, which I wore for a few weeks before I switched to Kaos glitter eyelets for a week. But it's sooo nice to get earskins in again. My lobie holes look sooo big! XD

I also have earskins in today bright blue!
Going out on the motorbike later. I wonder if that piercer is open Sundays, I could get him to have a look at my punch and assess the other ear ...

Bah! I dunno if I'll be able to get my lobies to 1/2" without them getting a thin spot either side. And I don't want thin lobies like. I've stretched slow and I'm still stretching slow. I dunno if redirectional scalpelling is an option or just scalpelling. Not that there is any one in my area that does that. And I still ain't found a piercer I 100% feel happy with (like competent skill wise and not just okay for simple piercings).

Wow, undersized o-rings are difficult to get onto SF tunnels!! ><
... and when is this damn lip on my punch going to go away?? Stupid thing! I know I should probably downsize it but ughhhhhhh I don't wanna! :( it's not like this tophat is even tight so I can only think it's being slept on that annoys it.

Whenever I find a piercer I like, one of us moves :/ or they do something stupid (or I find something in their portfolio) that puts me off them forever.

Putting an earskin in my punch is really working out well it's actually comfortable to sleep on for the first time since I had it done!

Edit so I'm not triple posting :P

    Can Emu oil go off/rancid?
    Jojoba oil, same question?
