Stretched my ear up the other day after like a year, all was good and i had a glass plug in with o-rings each side but its started to ache so i decided to put in the other glass plug i have that has very slightly flared edges so i dont need any o rings. Anyway took out the plug i had in, looked down to pick up the new one, looked up and bloods running down my neck..what? I soaked it for a little while to get the blood off and now its all swollen so ive gone back done to the size it was before. It doesnt even hurt though :s

I had problems with this ear before which is why its smaller than my other ear. May invest in some tape

Have i gone mad? Im afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But i'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

I hate my left ear... I had sized down after a somewhat hasty stretch, not because it was sore but because it looked sort of funny. I waited another 3 weeks at 3.2 to make it up to the 6 week mark, then it was fine for the first while I had it in and now it's back to looking odd.
The first time, the stretch felt a little tight for maybe a minute but not sore at all, and the second time the 4mm practically fell in.

    This is very annoying. :(

Went to get a picture for you but it's looking a bit better now!

It's like cat butt but not as wrinkly if that makes sense :(

Edit: I found a pic of someone else's ear - this is exactly what mine looked like the first time I stretched up with the way the fistula sort of collapses in without jewellery

It wasn't as bad as that this morning though, and it's not noticeable at all now.

Oh, I've had that I think. Eventually it sorted itself out though.

Time to start taping on Monday! I'll have been massaging my lobes daily for a week by then.
So excited about being closer to the next size, and then only one size from my goal, but I'm a bit apprehensive about the taping process at the sametime. I'd like to be at 1g by the beginning of February, which would be plausible for most, but sometimes my left ear acts up so I end up having to remove layers or wait days at a time before taping again.
    Current
Ears: Left forward and standard helix, left tragus, left daith. Right rook, right double inner conch. 1g and 14g lobes.
Face: Right nostril, septum, vertical labret.
Other: Tongue, standard and inverse navel, left and right nipple.

Just got my left ear to 10mm, didnt need the taper in the end, the plug slid straight in. Now i've just gotta get the other ear to the same size. It feels good to have reached my target size in that ear. Very much doubt i'll go any bigger.

Popped in my 10mm plugs today but the right one started to sting just a tiny bit so I put the 9mm back in. It's been two months!

Also put my 5mm in my right ear, no problems again. Stretching is so much nicer, when you do it properly. when i stretched my ears the first time years ago, i thought pain was part of it ha.
