Not going to bother with the cream in case I trap some gunk in or something, however I have just found my 7mm in-case-of-emergency Ti tophats, they went in fine with a bit of jojoba oil.
what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

Quick question - I was looking at the Kaos silicone eyelets on here, and noticed that they go down to 2.4mm. Is it even possible to insert them at that size???

Tbh I wouldn't bother having earskins at anything below goal size, simply cos the stretch needs to be well established before you can use them. a) because they're silicone, and b) cos they're SO thin they can't hold open a "tight" stretch very well.
So by the time your ears are ready for earskins, they're pretty much ready to go up a size anyway. (unless you plan on waiting moooonths between stretches?)

I did wonder about that aswell!

I've been leaving about a month between each stretch so far.

Hurrah for silicone Orings! The awful scabbyness on the back of my lobe is finally totally gone. Hopefully I can size up pretty soon too, it's been 4 weeks-ish. Will leave it a while yet though as the keep going from feeling loose to feeling sort of tight ._.

Urrggggh my lobes are so buggered :( left them naked overnight, they were not only still swollen this morning but also mildly crusty.
Put 7mm in but I'm going to have to be very careful cos I don't have any o-rings at this size.

Note to self - do not wear oversized plugs under motorbike helmet.
