I'm definitely going to watch them but I want to read the books first. I plan to actually read The Hobbit before the third film so then I'll read the LOTR books and then watch the films. My housemate I'd aaaalways trying to get me to watch them but I definitely want to read them before I do.

I realised I worded that awfully haha. Glad you understood it though Grace!

Yeah, I always wonder if i'd have enjoyed the films less or more had I read the books before seeing the films. I wasn't given too much opportunity though, I hadn't even heard of them when a family member took me to see them. I only got round to reading The Hobbit last year, but loved it so much, hopefully when I get round to reading LOTR it will be a similar story.
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

They're all awesome books, quite different to the films but I love the lot of them!

City of Bones - 5/10. I really liked the book but the film was a bit of a disappointment.

I got what you meant I did like the second hobbit but I do reckon if they stuck true to the book (apart from the Necromancer section) I would have liked it all the more. The Hobbit is a book I hold very close to my heart.

I kinda see the books and films as separate, they're both amazing but for me it's for different reasons. Tolkien is just... Incredible. I'm gushing slightly because I'm very hyped since getting my scarification!

I just can't wait for the last Hobbit film so we can have Middle Earth marathons!

The Bling Ring - 6/10. It was pretty interesting but Emma Watson was so annoying in it that I just can't give it more.
