I've watched a few films over the last few days...

In Time. I'll give it a 6/10. I think I like Justin Timberlake better as an actor than a singer after seeing him in a few films.c

Captain America. 6/10 also. I'm trying to watch all the preceeding films before The Avengers comes out. This was good but not as good as Iron Man 1+2.

The Sitter. I missed bits of this because I was cooking but what I did see was really funny. Jonah Hill is brilliant! 7/10.

The Hunger Games: 1/10, didn't like the books, didn't like the movie.

Tangled: 2/10, fun but way too "Americanized"...

American Pie the Reunion: 8/10, great if you want to spend 2 hours having some mindless fun and watching a careless, funny film.

    New Year's Eve: 7/10, I didn't think I'd like it but I actually did.

    Iron Lady: 9/10, loved it.

Gnomeo and Juliet - 3/10, wasn't really my style.

    Rio - 8/10, such a fun movie!

Madagascar - 9/10, I absolutely loved that film, it was funny and nice and a great way to have fun for a few hours.

Priest - 10/10, brilliant film, absolutely brilliant. Would recommend it to anyone!

On a related note - I can't wait for Snow White and the Huntsman...it looks epic <3

I watched Contraband the other night. Slightly disappointed with it as I thought it looked really good! I'll give it 4.5/10.

Anonymous: Definitely plays it fast and lose with the history, but tis still well worth a watch. Basically brings into question 'Who was Shakespeare', which most people will know there's always been a bit of debate amongst who of the time it could of been, and whether it was actually the man known as Shakespeare. Still, what a story. Really well acted throughout, worth watching just for that really. As I say, don't take the history as exact, because it isn't, but to make it so would be far too confusing and paced for a two hour film!

The Hunger Games- 10/10, because of these reasons:
    The acting is top quality
Jennifer Lawrence is amazing (as an actress, on screen, in real life, she's perfect ugh)
    Cato's good looking
    Good use of handheld cameras
Fantastic script with good humour at appropriate moments
No forced love triangle between Peeta, Gale and Katniss (no Twilight comparisons here!)
Good translation of book to film (I can't stand it when people get obsessed over details that they miss out, it's an adaptation- if you want something exactly like the book then read the book!)
Borders on being controversial (propaganda themes that consequently get discussed)
    'That's mahogany!'

    ....I think that's all, haha.

I agree with the above, I read all the books after seeing the film too. I reckon for a hollywood production they did well, the general tone comes over well for me. If that makes sense, still a bit bleary eyed this morning lol

    The Hunger Games - 9/10

I actually really liked it and it was really good despite all the comparisons to Battle Royale (I didn't think it was much like it at all!) I've never read the books, but might have to when I've got all my uni work out of the way. And OH MY GOD LENNY KRAVITZ!!! What a beautiful man <3
