If not, I am so very tempted to get a Product Red iPod Touch. I'm just praying I'm lucky and they have a few Classics knocking around in the store cupboard.

I want a Classic for two reasons, firstly the memory (I'm NOT getting a Nano or a Shuffle) and secondly I have an iPod dock/CD player that I got years ago, but it uses the 30 pin connector and I don't want to have to spend more money buying a lightning adapter =/
Have you tried Argoose? They still have them there over here, so I'm sure they do your end.

^ they don't do delivery and the stores I could pick it up from either have it out of stock or are a PITA to get to.

sigh - Just praying Currys will love me on Monday =/ I'm making a list of all the places I can think of in Manchester to check and I'm going to go into town at about 10 and work my way through them (eventually ending up at Apple... because if I cant find a Classic, the red iPod touch is MINE) before I go to uni.

gmg right now is the fact freshers is turning out exactly as I predicted. Housemate is trying to pull 7 guys in 7 nights and my interest in going out is zero atm. I cant go out every night because I have days where I'm going to have to get up at 7.30 to get to things at uni that I cannot miss.

I'm more than prepared to go home at any point this week and commute in if tonight is anything to go by.

Is there anyone else who can order it for you and then get it to you?

Maybe my parents :S they're currently on holiday in the highlands and I THINK they may be going to Inverness at some point this week and when I checked online Inverness had them in stock.

though, tbh, I'd rather just get the touch than have to deal with my dads reaction to me asking him to go round Scotland looking for an iPod.

You can check currys stock levels online and reserve them to pay in store if they have what you're after

What about Amazon? They have a few new ones for like 250 for the 160gb model. Not as cheap as Argos mind you, but if you really want something you might consider paying more, I dunno. They have the 80gb models too, but they're used and not new.

John Lewis are another stockist, but they're out of stock. And you know about Curry's (and PC World).

How do you check stock on Currys :S I should be getting my loan tomorrow but SFE are annoying so I'm not sure if I'll be able to buy it tomorrow.

Im not comfortable with buying an iPod from Amazon for a few reasons :S and if I'm going to be paying 250 I'm just on a get an iPod touch tbh.
