All I want is something in retail, that's part time, and that'll give me some extra money to keep me going through my postgrad degree. I'm just hoping I can get something when all the xmas temp stuff starts popping up properly.

WHY ARE YOU SO ELUSIVE, JOBS, WHY?
Anything! Im holding out for the graduate jobs in September so just something to pay the bills for a few months. Im only getting part time hours atm and they will be closing for winter soon so then im out of it for a few months. Even another waitressing job is hard to find! Its ridiculous.

Have i gone mad? Im afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But i'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

When people are off sick on this morning shift. If there is only one dealer here, they struggle for breaks. One person has rung in sick so we're all gonna have to wait ages to have a break. It always annoys me when people ring in sick at any time but on this shift it just f**ks everyone over!

Thinking about this, it also really GMGs when people consistently ring in sick and then moan when they get a rubbish wage! Sorry, but if you're gonna have at least 1 day off every month, don't come and moan to me that your wage is down! Me, a person who in 4 years of working here has never been late, has done hours and hours of overtime and has only ever had 2 days off! I understand that people get sick but you know you've had the time off, so when you get paid and it's not as much as you'd like, just suck it up! I think I'm probably lucky because I'm not a sicky person and the worst I've had was light flu for about 4 days but I was on holiday from work at the time. I would honestly rather come to work sick and then be sent home once the manager has seen that I'm actually too ill to work.

Tbh not everyone can do this especially if that have an illness that isn't physically obvious. Also if you're infectious with something I'd rather people stay at home rather than make others catch it! If you have a good boss and are rarely off then they shouldn't need you to come in and make a medical decision for you :/

It really is so frustrating when people are "ill" on saturday and sunday mornings though, always seems to be the same ones and the ones who party at the weekend. Used to see a strong trend of it when I managed a call centre. We just used to overstaff because it was guaranteed to happen and on the very very rare occasion we had too many staff we'd send one of the usual suspects (usually hungover to f**k) home with their agreement!

Yeah last night apparently 4 or 5 people rang in sick! Come on, its Friday night, do you think we don't know what's really going on?! It really bugs me when people going out knowing they're due in at 6am the next day. I don't even like risking a hangover when I have work at 2pm lol, its just not worth it!

Seeing how much food is wasted in this house is driving me insane.

To be fair, this house in general is driving me insane.

People who can't comment or get their point across without being rude or cocky.

Seriously are you that poor at conversing with people? Well done there.

When customer services take an age to reply but don't answer the question properly, so I have to reply and ask again.

Is it so difficult to read the question then answer in it such a way that you actually answer the question I'm asking?!
