I've been looking at Asics a lot! Fortunately I live down the road from a guy who will analyse your gait etc and fit you with the right shoe. I need a cross trainer ideally though over a full on running shoe. I'm scared at how much it will cost me haha!

So I made a little progress picture today. I don't have any full body pictures so it's only a face one and there isn't much difference but it definitely motivates me to keep going.

H I've worn insoles for the last few years as my ankles roll in a lot... they used to be in my school shoes as those were what I wore the most, then in my sneakers (wear them nearly everyday in winter) but I'm thinking I should start wearing them in my riding boots too. They help a LOT!

It sounds like your ankle injury is quite bad so it might not help terribly much but have you tried wearing one of those ankle supports? I have one from here that I use for my "bum" ankle and it does help somewhat.

Thank you! Sounds like you over-pronate too. Hopefully I'll get my appt with biomechanics soon and have my insoles.

Yeah I do need to get a strap sorted for my ankle. I have physio starting in June, may get something cheap for now and then take her recommendation on anything more sturdy after that.

I've found that doing less load bearing stuff is helping. I've stopped doing Zumba 6 days a week and only do it 3 now. So 3 days lifting and 3 days Zumba. Also want to do Yoga lol!
