PETA = just as bad as factory farming.

I'll eat Quorn sometimes, I just like it, and I try not to have too much red meat in my diet. I eat red meat once a week as a rule.

Peta is a load of rubbish :(

I had a Quorn chicken & mushroom pie today and it was YUMMMMMM

    All that shines,
    Turns to rust.
    All that stands, in time
    Turns to dust.

All you have to do to find the answer for that is read my post earlier. Thats just a fraction of the bs they pull. They're practically as bad as the GOP when it comes to hypocrisy and irrational political action.

They also use appeals to emotion, ie showing animals who've been tortured at farms, killed poorly, or the like to get your support; stating its common. When in reality that happens an extremely small fraction of the time because of animal protection laws and other regulations.

I've given meat alternates their chance, but they just don't cut it for me. Admitedly some are far more tolerable than others.

So they tend to exagerate what goes on?

PETA kill animals, thinking they're helping them. Or just hurt people instead.

That sums it up pretty well. For instance they don't want any domesticated animals, because "imprisoning" the animals as pets is bad, even though most people care for them well.

Well, if they had their way they'd set them all free. Then what would you have? Mass death and the possibility of having invasive species in the biomes of America if groups of them survived.

I rather have that than them starving; but its only a lesser of two evils.
    Have: 5mm lobes
Want: 8mm lobes, contemplating a few others that are undecided.

Americans: We're not all conservative, overly religious dumbasses.
