I usually fence with some barb-wire and wood posts but I've slacked off lately...., no, I don't fence. I'm not that graceful, and it's a bad ass sword art.

I've fenced once before. It was rather fun getting to poke my english teacher. She deserved it!

I did some fencing with my cousin when I was about 14. I was terrible, but it was damn fun.

Never tried it...a couple of my friends do it. They travel all over europe to compete in tournaments.

I think it's like being a pirate, but safer.

I startet a few years back, rather enjoyed it wasn't all that good. I didn't like the guy who was teaching was a complete *@$&?!, so left when the course finished.

I'd like to give it another go, but as its a very niche sport there aren't many clubs around, but once I've finished learning to drive I my look at visiting the group in Portsmouth...

I used to fence competitively (Épée) up until two years ago when my asthma got severe enough that I had to stop. I hope to take it up again soon, I just have to see what my campus policy is on the 'swords' we use. (sports equipment or weapon) I'd hate to be expelled for practicing in the gym.

I started fencing 12 years ago, to a pretty reasonable level. Best sport ever! It's got a bit of everything - fitness, speed, skill, intelligence. Unfortunately learning the basics can be a bit tough or boring at times and most people drop out early on, but if you stick with it it's great.

I used to love fencing, but then I got a new job which clashed with the fencing sessions. I miss it :(
