Default Bad Damage or just a bruise?

    Y'ello all.

I just want/need your opinion on something.

I was BMXing earlier today when I attempted to go up and ramp which connects to the platform of a half-pipe then do a drop-in but for the first time I majorly screwed up. I got to near the top and my wheel span and as I tried to place my foot down I missed the ramp and hit thin air. This caused me to fall 5-6ft and land on cold, hard concrete right on my back which hurt. Alot!

This was at around 4:30, it hrt then and it hasn't topped hurting since. I've asked a coupla people and they've both said I coulda screwed up my tailbone (not that I need it anyway).

My legs keep getting a tingly sensation come to them and it hurts to do anything that involves lower back movement.

So what do you think it is - a b!tch of a bruise or screwed up tailbone?

    Thanks

(To add a little humour - I broke me arse!)

only you can say, it might be fractured but youd know if it was a full break of something. I used to skate and had many similar problems, a break really hurts but I know some people who have fractured bones and never even gone to hospital, bad move as it means you will continually fracture it as it wont heal properly. So yeh, its up to you dude, do you think its fractured? if yes you might be best ringing up to find out if you should go in, a tail bone aint that bad so i wouldnt worry to much so long as it aint effecting you

I've hurt my Coccyx bone before and it didn't involve any leg tingling. I reckon you need to go to A&E.
Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

its most likely that your tailbone is broken
    ive broken mine twice lol
just lie down as much as possible
and dont run, just walk slowly

but in your case I would go to hospital to get that checked out
it sounds like youve done something to your spinal cord

Bruising in the tissues around nerves can cause tingling and temporary loss of feeling as far as I know.
Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.
