    Does anybody know of any good ones?

    As im looking for a good one to help me get in shape.

    umm the ministry of sound ones.. called pump it up i think? we used to do that in p.e lessons. was quite fun

    EDIT: if you can cope with the dance music. (i kinda couldn't)

    i have davina power of 3. has a lot of leg and bum workouts so will give you a nice toned bum also has upper body and abdominals to lol
    i got it for my kiteboarding to help me hold down more power for longer
    but i have to say i have only done it twice not even davinas bum could motivate me to do it hahaha
    i just wait for wind and take my kite out insted

    to be fair workout dvds are usually money makers that will do little for someone who is of average fitness but work up a little sweat, you need to decide what goals you want to achieve fitness wise then build a training program and clean up your diet based around these goals to accomplish them, diet is just as important as the exercise itself, if you want to lose weight then take up running or skipping, marathon runners are super skinny for a reason, if you want to tone up you need to drop body fat whilst holding onto muscle so a mixture of aerobic and weights is what you need. If you just wanna dance around your living room then the dvds are ok but your body will not change much if anything from doing them

    yeah, ive changed my diet so its lot more healthy & i do regular walks & runs. i just need something to keep me busy as i cant join the gym till after xmas

    well done on the diet and running, its a great way to get into shape. I do a lot of things bodyweight exercises which are exercises you do just using yourself, like sit ups, crunches, press ups (can make them easier at first by doing them against a wall or on your knees) for your legs and bum do things like squats and lunges. These can all be done in your own home and there are hundereds of bodyweight exercises, search them on the net. They will be 100 times better than any dvd and give you a really good workout. Unlike gym machines they work many muscles at once which is good for overall fitness. Give em a try! heres a really sample quick routine

    20 press ups (on knees if they are 2 much)
    20 sit ups
    20 crunches
    30 squats
    20 lunges each leg
    50 star jumps

    repeat the routine 3 times

    do all the exercises fast! with as little rest in between as you can, if you dont know the exercises search em online. Routines like that are a great way to start
