Look at your veins.
Blue-ish veins = pink/cool.
Green-ish veins = yellow/warm.
It can be kinda hard to tell sometimes though. I am really pale and I thought I had neutral toned skin until I compared my skin to my boyfriend (who has very pink undertones) and realised how yellowy my skin actually is

I always thought you were meant to buy the same. But MAC always makes me doubt whether that's right or not, because I'm a NC15, and C = cool undertone, for people with a slightly golden undertone?Sorry for being no help, haha.

Haha you have helped! I'm just very confused about the whole comparison chart, because in illamasqua rich foundation i'm supposed to be a 135 (or SB3) and in mac i'm NC15 (SB2) don't really want to buy both :s

I read somewhere that green concealers aren't that great. Green neutralises red on white, but even the palest of people aren't white, so yellow is much better at concealing redness/pinkness.Originally Posted by starlit_starlet
