My Guide on Eyeliner:
hmm, i'm not very good with words steph, but i will give it a go.
(i will add pictures eventually)
okay i use liquid eyeliner on the top eyelid:
MAC liquidlast liner in point black
http://www.maccosmetics.com/template...CT_ID=PROD9961
it comes in loads of other colours too, and is really nice and dark!
quite expensive though and not easy to apply.
think i might get a different MAC one when this one runs out as i find the brush quite difficult to use to get a thick line.
another good one is the Rimmel exaggerate one, which is about £5 so not too expensive, which has a nice thick applicator and is sort of spongey as opposed to a brush, so it's easier to apply if you're not used to using it. it is quite runny though, and does smudge a bit.
When applying liquid eyeliner make sure you use quite small strokes, as if you apply it all in one go you're likely to end up smudging it!
Okay, when I'm applying liquid eyeliner i sort of stretch my eyelid out and rest my elbow on the table to make sure my arm is steady.
Start from the inner corner of the eyelid and draw just above the lash line outwards.
I usually apply a couple of coats, to make sure it's even.
Doing the bottom part of the eye can be a little trickier, but practice makes perfect!
i usually start from the outer corner of the eye, apply a little bit, then the inner corner of the eye and join it up in the middle, i usually find it makes a nice even line that way.
paint a thin line just below the lash line, not too close to the eye or you'll end up blinding yourself! also if you leave a little gap between the eyeliner and your eye it makes them look bigger.
then if you want a more dramatic look paint over the line again slightly thicker.
i usually do little flicky bits at the corner of my eyes, just follow the line on your top lid and extend it out from your eye in a flick, and blend in with the bottom line.
If you want a more subtle look, leave the flick part out.
If you want a more smokey look use kohl eyeliner on the bottom part of your eye. Apply as above, using small strokes, and smudge a little bit.
hope this is helpful?
if anyone wants any other tips let me know!
Ah thanks![]()
Welcome, if no luck with that, the benefit eyeliner is good, expensive, but has a sponge on the end of it.
