I find the process more draining than tattoos. I have a history stuffed with self harm (not for a year or so now though) so maybe that's why, I don't know.

that could make sense. i can totally see how such similar tools would be draining on the emotions. Makes sense in a straight up physiological sense too - increased energy demand directed towards healing. I totally read your diaries. Do you have any fully healed pictures?

I don't, actually! Colin won't be home for another 6/7 hours to take any either :( If it doesn't matter whether you see them before or after your piece, I'll get him to take a photo anyway

I do have these just now though. You've probably seen them though!

This is exactly 2 weeks after I got it.

    Day 3 of #2

In this photo, the left one was exactly 3 weeks old and the right one was almost 5 months old.

OOOOOoooooOOOOO so cool! That's the kind of look I'm hoping for - not super crazy raised but nice & crisp neat looking outlines. If its not a hassle I'd love to see current pics any time you get around to it

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

Okay I managed to take a couple of photos... very hard with a clumpy DSLR and the fact they're on the back of my thighs haha! So they're not the greatest.

My first one. 7 months and 8 days old.

Second one. 3 months old today!

    They really are terrible photos!

(if it helps to get a feel for how hard it is... that's my t shirt you can see, not my trousers haha)
