My hair's really thick too. You'd think as a dog groomer a bit of hair wouldn't bother me but I hate having my hands covered in my own hair, during washing/conditioning is the worst. I literally have to empty the plug hole 2/3 times during a shower, and then again when I'm done!

If I run my brush or hands through my hair I will come away with 4-6 strands. Washing is the worst, Iím surprised I havenít blocked the drains with how much of my hair comes out. Weirdly, Iím not going bald though, I have very thick hair and itís not getting any thinner. Any ideas? my moulting is causing friction in the household lol!
It sounds ok but if it seems to have upped suddenly then maybe go for a quick chat with your GP, a blood test can reveal a lot and hair loss can be an indicator of deficiencies.

We do shed hair every day though some more than others and especially if it's thick or curly. I can seem to lose loads despite having thin/fine hair but that's because it's curly, long and because I don't thoroughly detangle/de-shed every single day (either I'm too ill or too lazy).

As you say though, you're not noticing any patches/thinning so it shouldn't really be an issue.

Vortex traps are pretty good. I'd link but we're not allowed...
