    She did put a toner on it, so it could still get a bit lighter. I wouldn't put anything on myself though. I don't think I'll ever do anything to my hair myself again now I've found a stylist I really like.

    I'm glad you like it and I'm also glad with your stylist, it sounds like he/she has been cautious with stripping which is wonderful! It will have been much kinder to your hair. Toners reduce yellow/brassy tones rather than red and aren't harsh, some are just in the form of conditioners but you'll find it will lighten on it's own anyway.

    Any pics?

    Yeah it was a conditioner she put on that was the toner I think. You'll most likely get a pic tomorrow when I'm ready for my work awards

    Woo, got mine done last night. The colour is actually pretty nice given we went from a horrible box-black to a chestnutty brown, in another 8 weeks we'll strip back the rest and go blonde
    So nice to have soft clean hair again! She said it's probably my shampoo making my hair gross, so I got a new one and some treatment for the ends that both have keratin in it.

    Ew but now I have a fringe again, that's gonna take some getting used to...On the plus side, it's styled so I don't really have to do anything with it if I don't want to, I just have to go invest in some bobbypins

    Hair cuts are scary haha but good at the same time. I remember getting my hair cut to shoulder length after having it long enough to sit on O_O

    have a look at a few pics before you go to get an idea

    I mostly just want all the split ends trimming and a bit of a general tidy up and some kinda fringe put back in. It's probably gonna look tonnes better whatever they do with it

    it's amazing how much getting rid of split ends does to the look of your hair.

    can i ask?... what dye did you use for your hair in your avatar? reason i ask is that it's the colour i'm aiming to get after i'm able to dye my hair again. been every other colour under the sun but can never get that quite right ^^;

    Well it is done. I like it, not sure about my fringe but I think I just need to get used to it. Looks so much healthier though!

    And the dye I used in my avatar is Directions turquoise. I miss having turquoise hair
