Thanks Hazel.
Hi, Thanks. I’m hoping to put in the jewellery ASAP after surgery, so I’m hoping it won’t start to close. After having 2 previous attempts having it done and now that the third attempt seems to be...
Hi Guys,
I need to remove my navel and VCH jewellery for a laparoscopy, and not allowed to put in a plastic retainer. Does anyone know how soon these piercings would close up? I’ve had my VCH for...
Arrived safe and well in Brisbane. The 21 hour flight was long and tiring, but managed to get some sleep.
I had to go through the body scanner at Birmingham airport, as I set off the alarm on the...
Hi guys. Just to let you all know that I'm flying off to Australia tomorrow (04/09) to visit my family and friends, just in case I'm unable to come online. It's been 7 years since I was last there....
If your tragus is that swollen, a longer post maybe needed, but best let a piercer to assess. Your low immune system could be slowing down the healing, but it can take traguses a long time to heal.
I agree. You have a decent amount of rim there to possibly accommodate an industrial, but it also depends how much your antihelix (the thick cartilage that runs parallel to the outer rim) sticks...
Well positioned. Happy healing!
Hi and welcome. It's best to consult a piercer first, as some advise no more than 3 in 3 months, but I think you could have those done in one sitting. I've had 2 lobes in each ear done at the same...
It's true that there are some people who heal quicker than others. In my opinion though, it's always best to give a piercing it's longest healing timeframe to make sure it's fully healed before...
When did you have it done? It can take at least 4 months to fully heal a nostril piercing.
Bear with it, as it will heal in the end. Everyone's healing is different: some quicker without any problems, others take a while to heal. Just do the best you can to promote the healing.:)
I suppose nipples, but once I started becoming more adventurous, I went for it!
That's good. It's always advisable to get more than one opinion. Happy healing.:)
Having two piercings done at the same time isn't a problem - I've had 4 (both nipples and traguses), but it's advisable to concentrate on one ear at a time, so that you've got at least one side to...
Hi and welcome. Looking forward to hearing about your piercing experiences.:)
This is what I've always used without any problems.
It does look much better. :)
I've been watching recently 'Good Girls Revolt'. A drama set in the late 60s and early 70s at a media company, where it highlights the disparity of wages and recognition against women, whom also...
My piercer recently suggested to soak a piece of kitchen/paper roll in saline and place onto the piercing for about 5 minutes, then gently remove any crusts and dry with some paper roll. Seems to be...
It's looking much better already. So that's a good sign.
Well done. Happy healing! :)
Hi, Welcome to the forum. I'm unable to see your pics, but from what you've written, 4 week old navel piercing is still rather fresh (it can take at least 6-9 months to heal), and sounds like the top...
That is quite normal for any cartilage piercings, it's part of the healing process. They can take up to a year to heal and may occasionally flare up from time to time. Continue the aftercare, but be...
