Thats the most biggest bunch of bull iv ever been told. With regular handlin as with everything it will tame and get used to you wich makes nips and bites very rare and the info they gave me i find cruel! i would never dream about doin that to any animal :(

FOFL!!! We've had ours for 2 days. They came from working stock and were not properly handled like pets would be (the breeder admitted this!). Freya was very nippy for the first day, and didnt like being handled. Turned out there was a tick on her back, which we got rid of and now she is sweet as cake, she only nips during their little "wardance" moments.
So, yes, that is total bull, ferrets are generally very sociable critters, and dont bite the hand that feeds.

Most of the staff at pets at home don`t know anything bout animals.It really bugs me when they starting spouting on bout stuff,thats totally wrong.i end up walking out.thye can`t sex animals either

Yea and they dont know when an animal is pregnant, they put one of my guinea pigs with the males, she was female and pregnant.

Yeah, i think we got dora from there. I asked for a different pig, but she couldn't catch it, didn't appear to know what i was on about and just gave me that one. She tried 'sexing' it but I had to do it myself, ha. And when I asked her is she had any Abyssianian's or would be getting any in she just looked at me blankly and said she didn't know what I was on about. Stupid bitch!

I do miss having Abys though. Ahh. My first two were Aby decents, both gorgeous. Mum killed the first one, I can't really remember her. I had Penny for nearly 7 years though, she was gorgeous :).

I went to Harrods the other day and looked at all the babby animals! They had toy poodle and King Charles spaniel pupsies! And a little kitteh with a proper little snub face,and one with the most gorgeous kinda spots and stripes on it! I so wanted one!!!

The referance is towards Final Fantasy nines dragon warrior called Freya, a albino rat, but this ferret looks just like her, and gives the same "I'm going to bite that little ferret on your chin" look as the game character.

Ohh my look at all those wonderful pets, took a while 2 look at all the pictures, long thread and all :)

Really wonderful to see the rats, ferrets and reptiles, too cute and
all illegal to import, would love a chameleon, ferrets and some rat's
if it was possible, but it isn't.

1 paddle tail newt (has her own tank)
2 oriental fire belly newt (have their own tanks)
1 hermit crab (has it's own tank)
3 aquariums running, (270L, 150L & 50L) and one 450L soon to be filled with water
30+ mice (lot's of cages)

and I'm baby sitting a male bullfrog, too cute and huge :)
And a lovely Amazon mealy girl during weekends so she
won't have to be left alone in the store, known her for 5 years
now but never could afford to adopt her.
She goes for 200.000isk here (1470gbp, 2160euros and 2900usd)

Lol, ferrets aren't fierce at all! I went to my friends house once and she has one, and it had never seen me before and I just picked it up and sat down with it in my arms and I think it only nipped at me when I wouldn't give him it's ball.
