Thats the most biggest bunch of bull iv ever been told. With regular handlin as with everything it will tame and get used to you wich makes nips and bites very rare and the info they gave me i find cruel! i would never dream about doin that to any animal :(

aww no ike used to bite he just nips now if he feels he is being ignored. aorently scruffing them is supposed to work on biting mine just grew out of it (i think ike was abused he took a bit of work)

Well. I'm not 100% sure because you need DNA testing either with their blood or a full feather, but I read somewhere that parrots [or at least Amazons] only really get along with humans of the opposite sex... :itchy_chin:

And so seeing as he love me ^__^ and can't stand men in general, I think he is a boy :]

lol, i have a fear of big parrots ever since i worked at the pet shop and the big macaw used to get let out, landed on my back as i bent down once and would get off.. didn't wanna harm me like, it was just being annoying lol

how big is he/she?

Bloody 'ell, Macaws are pretty big too :o MP&A have [or at least did] this huuuge blue and gold one :]

Buzz isn't massive... Like I'd say about 13 inches tall or so :]

Your's isn't that big, but it's not as small as i thought!

used to have an umbrella cockatoo and a few african greys where i used to work aswell

the cockatoo used to grab your hand to shake it when you walked past

i miss that job :frown:

i used to work at a farm lets just say i now have a phobia of (live) turkeys

Awwwwww theyre all soooo cute!! I used to have two rats but they died years ago! We just lost our lurcher on june 17th, she was called kizzy and was nearly 13 years old! :( ill try and find a few pics of her!

I feel left out, I don't have a pet :(
