Lol he knows who's boss, the guy that feeds him :D She does it too, only far slower, kinda looks like she's doin press-ups lol
They are amazing little creatures, I sit & watch them for ages lol Hope ya get one in the future mate :)
Danni, pumpkin has grown so much I can still remember the very first kitten photos that you posted in here and he was just a peerie scrap of a thing then :D
3 kilos is nothing though my cat weighed about 5 kilos the last time he was weighed which was a couple of years ago whic is not fun when he walks over you but hey ho... the funny thing is that he's not fat or anything it's just solid muscle and a lot of fur
this is him

apologies for the size
also super jealous of the beardies would love a pair as soon as I get a place of my own (I'm assuming that they're better of in pairs btw but if I'm wrog then feel free to correct me, and also would they be good for someone who has very little experience with reptiles or would I be better of going for something else instead?)
Oh, my Lord, what a big kitty.
Beardies are happy alone or in pairs or groups. Whatever :) They're probably the easiest lizard to care for, after leopard geckos.
okay thank you just one other question because I work I'd have to leave them it for most of the day would I be better of getting a ppair in this case so that they don't get lonely or will they be alright being left on their own? obviously depending on how close the flat I'm hoping to get is close to my work I may be able to pop up and check on them in my lunch break but I just woldn't be able to spend any length of time with them apart from in the evening ...
They'd be completely fine on their own or in a pair :) They'd be fine if you never handled them, also. It's a known saying that reptiles don't like to be handled, they just tolerate it ;)
^^ This..... They'll be fine whatever you choose to do, I got mine as an already established breeding pair... If you do choose to get a pair though, don't get 2 males, either get a male/female (which will most likely result in you having baby beardies on your hands at some stage) or 2 females as 2 males generally fight or in the best cases 1 takes the dominant role and the other may not get fed/basking as well as the dominant one :) They're also easy to care for as long as you have the right set-up & keep an eye on the temperatures in the viv.
thanks for all the info guys... obviously me getting a beardie wont happen untill I get a place of my own but if igurd there was no harm in getting as much info as I possily could before then so that I'm as prepared as I can be :D
roughly what sort of temp sould the viv be at btw and do they need some sort of heat source? eg a heatmat or lamp?
