lol aww that is so cute!!
i meant the actual fireplace, the brickwork, it's gorgeous, sorry I like stuff like that. I'm a house pervert!
Ohhh yeah it is, Whole of that wall is brick then theres a brick archway just behind Xena :)
My cat just fell off the rail at the top of the stairs, hit the other rail on his way down then hit the floor. Thank god he popped back up like nothing ever happened. I'm going to keep an eye on him in case he has a ruptured diaphragm or something but i think he has survived unscathed. Very worrying few moments though!!
Swapped Roxy (my bosc monitor) for a breeding pair of bearded dragons today, she was proving to be a bad choice as my 1st lizard due to her size and not being able to handle her as she wasn't tame! Now for the fun of baby beardies as it looks like the female I got today is pregnant :D
Will post pics tomorrow as I'm in work now
Goodbye, Piranha. I loved you while you lived. Terror of the tearing flesh, while young. Sweetest snuggler of snaggle-toothed skin in your Autumn years. Nineteen years is more than some of us have. It's more than my... it's more than many of us have. Whatever blackness beneath the buried bushes awaits, I'll see you in the next fluffy life. Tortoiseshell, Calico, each continent has their name; to me me you were the same, viscous in youth (aren't we all), yet vivacious in truth... I'll miss you...
Proud of little Morrissey. Me and Alex were out all day, came home to find he had only used his pads and hadnt gone to the toilet on the floor :D :D
The christmas tree was on its side though haha
The breeding pair of beardies I got last night... Named them Syd & Sandy :D

Have to get a background & more décor sorted out this week
Oh I'm gutted about Roxy. Has she gone to a good home? Do beardies lay eggs then and what will you do with the babies? They are a lovely couple.
Yea she's gone to an experienced reptile keeper who's no stranger to big lizards & snakes etc.... Gutted too but she was intimidating me everytime I tried to handle her lol and my daughter was always looking to stroke her etc which would have been potentially quite dangerous as her hands & fingers are very small & I wouldn't have wanted Roxy takin a bite out of her :D Yea beardies lay eggs, I'm setting up a nesting box tomorrow or friday when I'm off for her to lay her eggs in & also getting an incubator. If it was up to my fiance we'd be keepin all the babies but that wouldn't be very practical lol so we'll keep one & sell the rest :)
Some people have said it's not worth while breeding them as you spend as much as they're worth on feeding them alone but its not about the money, its about the experience for me (plus the fact that I've no choice this time round as she's already preggers lol).... Should be fun, looking forward to it, just hope I don't balls anything up, but the guy that took Roxy gave me his number and said give him a shout any time if I need help/advice and he's only 5 mins away from me which is good :)
Think this is the longest post I've ever made
