Yeah. I am too. I'm kind of pissed at my mom right now because yesterday she and I got into an argument. She said she couldn't be in a relationship or be friends with someone who performs abortions. I told her she sounded extremely anti-choice when she said that. She claims to be pro-life but doesn't want to be around someone who does abortions? Sounds like a bunch of crap to me.
Some people say they're pro-choice until you dig under the surface and then you find out they're really not.
I don't want children, never have. I've never been maternal in the slightest, even when I was a kid and everyone played with their Tiny Tears, I was never that bothered. Most of the nightmares I have surround me being pregnant and freaking out because I don't want a child! Some people find it weird when a woman doesn't want kids, but I actually know a lot who don't.
I think the reason for me not wanting them is that I saw how hard life was for my mum and dad (mum especially) bringing me and my siblings up. My brother had ADHD which went undiagnosed until he was 14/15 and that was a massive stress on the family. When your experience of what children are like is your crazy, hyper brother and seeing your mum crying with frustration because he just won't calm down... yeah, it kind of puts you off.
children can laugh like a evil :D
I love kids with evil laughs!!! It normally means they're plotting something destructive, like putting toast in the DVD player!!!
I have to agree, young children scare me, teenagers don't. I know how their brains work :)
Adoption has been mentioned on here and so has reversals of procedures. I wonder how many peole realise the number of hoops that must be jumped through just to start the process of adoption, which takes years. And as for reversals, their success rates are really low even for clamped tubes due to scar tissue and the likes. Neither are things to be taken lightly or depended upon, things just don't work that way in the real world.
But if you're like me and 100% certain, brilliant!
For all men wanting 'the snip', I watched my husband get his done. He was fully awake and the worst bit was the numbing needle, but I can't imagine many men on here being scared of a needle ;) It took half an hour and he was walking straight away. He walked carefully for a few days, but was fine really :)
