What is it and why is not treatable in males?

That would be straying from the topic at hand. :)
I know but I'm still wondering.
Maybe it's personal and Chrissy doesn't want to talk about it in depth?
Off topic slightly, but I came across this while looking for navel piercings photos...

Jesus  Please tell me not everyone gets stretch marks that badly?
What was she expecting? An elephant....?
Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez....
wow guys, would you like to be a bit more brutal with your comments?
Amy, whilst some women do get really bad stretch marks ( i was one of them when carrying my daughter) not all women do, an they do fade in time.. they only stay red whilst they are fresh. My friend has had 4 children, is back in her size 6 and dosnt have one stretch mark on her.
Daveybobmacca, id recon she was/is near enough full term.....im probably bigger than her, it all depends on how they are positioned.
I always thought stretch marks came as part of expanding too fast... Uber baby growth?
I agree she's near drop off. I hope it all went well for her. Ive just never seen anyone that huge...
not always, some peoples skin is more stretchy than others.. as we know when we stretch our ears, some can stretch faster than others.
With my daughter i went from a size 12 to a size 26, although i ended at a 26, for the biggest majority of the pregnancy i was a size 22 (i spose it didnt help that my cravings were jam doughnuts) With this one, iv been healthy eating for at least 7months, its only been these last couple of weeks that iv wanted 'junk' food.
Its really weird tbh how some women show quicker... like i said, my friend although had a bump, she only got big in her last weeks and dosnt have any stretch marks.
I was showing from early on in both pregnancies, an it dosnt help that i 'carry big' either.
I hope I don't get any. :/
They don't bother me on other people but I already have faint white ones on my hip/butt area that annoy me.
