I do see what you're saying with the second point, but then thats why you guys are having a baby.
Apart from the fact that (well i might as well split hairs lol) you and Dawn getting pregnant and that foetus existing, was your action. You had that affect on yourselves and your family, not the foetus (in my opinion, i'll add here).
Otherwise i could state that a foetus has had an awful effect on its creators when they don't welcome the news, which could only back up the argument for abortion ie. get rid of the cause of a problem.

Tbh the whole legality of it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me. If I was to fall pregnant even with my
contraception I'd abort straight away. To me it's now a child and why should I let a bumble of cells ruin my life and my mum and dads. If that seem selfish I don't realy care lol the featus doesn't know life and I do, so either me having no life or it not having one in the futer (sp) i'd have one every time.
Edit: I just reread this and I'm not sure if the legal mumbo jumbo sound patronising, I don't meen I to be so

The law is bull, and picks and chooses its own definitions as and when it pleases. Tell me, why do they often prosecute the murder of a pregnant woman as double murder?Quote:

As far as I'm concerned, while a foetus is still part of me and living off of me, I decide what to do with it.
If I was to get pregnant now, not only would it probably ruin my life, but I don't have the means to raise a child. I wouldn't be able to provide for it well enough. Plus I imagine I'd resent the kid and that wouldn't be healthy. Sure, abortion isn't nice, but neither is having a child and giving it a sub-standard upbringing.
Several of my work colleagues have had kids recently. Today, two of them decided to bring their 6 month old babies in for a visit.
For an hour and a half, everyone in the room went to coo over these babies leaving me as the only person still working. The babies got handed around and inevitably started crying... One of their mothers decided it would be a good idea to sit on the desk next to my microscope (where I was trying to screen smears) and try to stop one of the babies from screaming.... Then the fear kicked in. I felt physically sick, my hands were shaking and my pulse was racing. I had to tell her to take the kid away.
Why can't these people understand that not everybody likes babies? I thought me and my phobia were safe working in a pathology lab... but clearly not.

Over the past few years they kinda drifted apart and more considered themself friends than partners. My Uncle told my Nan he's never wanted marriage, and the thought of babies left him totally cold. He was 'seeing' a woman for a little while, and managed to get her pregnant. She wanted to keep it as she was in her 40s and thought this was her last chance for a child. She gave birth just over a week ago and my Uncle is besotted with the baby! Won't stop talking about and show pics of it!
It just goes to show, even if you can't stand babies, sometimes your own will change your mind..
