this is 1st time for me, and yeah its tough, and very much a downer but got to just get on with it.
eh, I've realised, if me and the boyy do get back serious again, it's going back to only seeing each other once/twice a month :(
me and my boyfriend live nearly 3 hours apart (by train) and it really sucks. thing is, we used to live in the same town with our parents (while we were at school), but now they've all moved too, so even when we're home from uni, we're still about 5 hours apart.
we're good though. and after next year we'll be living together and it will all have been worth it!
edit - weird thing is, 90% of the couples i know have done the long distance thing. i know only two couples (who met here at uni) that have actually seen each other every day from the beginning.
You must have a rather strong relantionship for it to work over the distance, glad it did :)
yeah...i guess if you get through it you just end up stronger and appreciate the time even more...
yeah. first year of uni we were arguing all the time but now we're used to it and the few days we see each other a month make it all better!
I'm two n hours from the boyf via car. n an hour via train..
He always insists on coming via car.. well.. getting his parents to bring him.. but I have to get the train, cos my parents refusee to take me such distance.
Now his parents are being blahh and don't bring him as much and he won't get a train (Well he may now we're back on, to show he's serious)
but it's like we didn't see each other as it was.. now it's going to be even worse :(
Not to sound tooo negative.. but unless we're suddenly amazing, I'm not holding out the highest hopes :(
