General Relationship Thread

It's good that she hasn't got it as severly, but even if it's more mild, it's still extremely difficult to live with :( I wish her luck to fully getting rid of it.
And hmm, well I guess in every relationship there's going to be difficulties and bumps. Wether its someone with a severe illness, or a miss match in personalities/likes/habits, etc. Theres always going to be hurdles, and if you're able to get over them then it proves how much you love and care for one another. ^^
Heh, I'll stop rambling now!

why am i doing all the apologizing/?! I've apologized like 7 million times these past two days and all I've had is one crappy half hearted reply in return.

It's all about seeing it from his point of view.
How about seeing it from my point of view? It isn't very nice being called a cheating slut either.

What happened?

blahhh long story short.
He read comments on my pictures on MySpace.

And like flipped at me and was all "oh it's so hurtful, you obviously grave off all other lads attention, you don't think I'm good enough for you"

and then when he was all "who are they" I was like "yes, they're the mass number of guys I'm cheating on you with :|" and he said "ergh well it wouldn't surprise me"

and it all exploded. And I've apologized loads. And he's still saying about how much it's hurt him whatever, and what he read nearly had him in tears.

Well what he's said has had me in a constant flow of tears the past two days, and I've done my bes to not bring up how much he's hurt me and just try apologizing and trying to make it better.

Tell him to give you a break. For Christ's sake you didn't cheat on him. It's not your fault you've got lots of male friends. Ask him if it's really worth loosing you over a misunderstanding. *sigh* men.

Blah, he text and says "I dont think you'd cheat, I just think you crave attention and sex compliments from other lads"

hmm. nice.

Well I've said I don't and I don't care what anyone else says or thinks, i don't care about them, I only care about him.
And now I get no reply. Lovely.

He's probably just extremely jealous and also insecure ("you don't think I'm good enough for you") ? Otherwise I don't think he would have said anything in the first place.
However him saying "it wouldn't suprise me" is really hurtful and mean. :( *huggles*

And what he said in the text is not exactly nice either...

I think he's taking out his insecurity out on you - like shifting focus on you constantly, blaming things on you, etc, to not bring attention to the fact he's really jealous, and thinks he's not good enough for you? idk :(

I just hope things will be sorted out between you soon.
Just give him a bit of time to brood, and let yourself have a break too, and afterwards things may be easier to talk about and explain?

Yehh it's like every girl he's been with has cheated on him.. so ofc that's what he is insecure.

but as I said to him.. It's not like I've never been hurt by a boy before, however I think so much more highly of him than I do of all of them, and I trust he'd never do something like that to me. And I can see the feeling isn't mutual.

to which I got no response. Tbh I'm not really getting any responses to what I say

Yeah. It sucks he got hurt and it's vaugly understandable. But he's not accepting it's him at all, it's all you in his opinion. Which is rubbish.
