to be honest it just sounds like he doesn't want the hassle..
any good boyfriend would try to cheer you up no matter what and make you feel better if they can't and at least let you know they're there for you, even if it's something that happens a lot.
understandably if you were like screaming at him and stuff every time you were upset that kind of behaviour could be slightly more acceptable but to just turn so cold and uncaring at any sign of being upset, it's just shite
