Oh i know everyone has to be selfish sometimes.. i have my odd moments every now an again. Your right, the weekends is mostly the onlytime, unless you can book time off work during the week or you do a rota.
We were somethhin like 183 miles apart but managed to see each other every 2 weeks, then his car blew and he spent a week here with me :)
Most of the time he wouldnt leave untill the monday morning, which meant driving at stupid o'clock time and arriving at work a bit worse for wear lol. Also after night shifts finished on a friday morning, he would drive straight up to me. It was pretty much one sided, i wasnt working at the time so couldnt afford the £50 travel costs, plus with having my daughter it would mean planning for her for the weekend, which i felt wasnt fair on her... so Nick came to me.

I'm not too sure how this long distance thing is gonna work out once school comes back around. There's a chance his dad may co sign for loans and it won't happen at all, but if he doesn't, then he's gonna be an hour and a half-2 hour car ride away. I'm getting my license (hopefully) next month and he's trying to get his too, but who knows if either of us will have a car by then (I don't think I will). I'm not letting us go more than 2 weeks without seeing each other though, so he'll either find some way up to school or I'll need to come home. Luckily, if all things work out with my roommate and her new boyfriend, she'll be in the same situation (except she drives), so I'm sure she'll be gong home a lot and I can hitch a ride. If not, one of my best friends boyfriends goes to the school I go to so whenever he goes home to see her I could come or whenever she visits Brandon could go with her. If he has a steady job though I'm not sure if it will be so easy.

I totally agree too. With work (I do nights) and my children I only really have Monday evenings as an option for me time. The only trouble with that is that's the only definite evening I can see my boyfriend too. So time and space for myself is very limited and occasionally I do resent that. I resent having everything on such a schedule at times too but mostly just get on with things. I know he could spend more time with me when I'm with my girls so then I could have some time for myself but I don't always want to share time with my girls with him. Luckily he understands but things would be easier if he lived nearer. Whilst an hours drive is not the greatest distance it does make the ability to just pop in harder.
Still, it's been nearly 2 years of doing this and so far so good!

Boy is amazing :tongue: but all his friends keep adding me on facebook, starting to feel mean that im not accepting them aha but their his friends and i dont know them :)

Why keep rejecting them? Maybe they're trying to be good friends and making an effortto get to know you

Im not rejecting them, im just leaving them atm., I never thought of it that way though, but still i asked him and he said he'd rather i waited.

I know when I friend of mine gets a new boyfriend/girlfriend I only add them to be nosy if I don't already know them!

I always add my friends boyfriends even if I don't know them particularly well, to try and make them feel like they're a part of the group
