It pretty much is what it is.
I mean he did get in trouble with the law, but it was a year ago and isn't (well, wasn't!) effecting his education. They tell him he has to help himself before they can help him, but that doesn't make any sense seeing as when you have the means to help yourself you don't need it anymore. ><
Here's something for the "stupid whiney ramblings" department:
I feel like my family is out to get me, or just waiting for me to do something awful. I'm terrified to tell them about my relationship, certain friends, things I do, places I go, etc. I'm 19 which is the same age my mom, sister, aunt, and a bunch of other family members got married, and I feel like since I haven't done that they're all just waiting for me to meet some piece of crap guy and move in with him or get married. But then again if I'm just in a relationship without being married or living with the guy I feel like they won't know how to handle it, like my mom will just lecture me about premarital sex all the time or something. I don't know if I'm just crazy and making this all up, or if my family really does have serious issues. Either way, I think I just need to ignore it and live my life or I'm never going to be happy. I feel absolutely suffocated.
Have a look at Nice. I went there with a couple fo friends last year. There's lovely beaches, but there's also quite a lot to see/do. We were only there for 5 days and crammed loads of stuff in, and there's loads more to do. The buses were really easy to use, plus you can bus up and down the south coast of France.Quote:

I live with my boyfriend but the last month or so, i think we've been feeling pretty disconnected. I've been away on holiday a few times, I've been working a lot of late nights/early mornings at work etc. Last night we went out for dinner and just chatted for hours and drunk wine and held hands across the table and were generally really loved up and vomit inducing.
Last night I remembered why I love him so much and today I can't stop smiling <3 <3 <3
Callum's been super sweet. I've managed to relapse into a pretty severe depression and he's being so... nice. Everything he needs to be to help make me feel less like jumping out of the window. And I've been ridiculously accident prone the last couple of days... my leg is bandaged up from a fall, my wrist is bandaged up from a fall, I have a decent sized cut on my face and this morning, I passed out and have a huge carpet burn and cuts on my face. He's looked after them and cleaned them and done all the bandaging up for me. He's a keeper.

What about Eastern Europe? Cheaper than Western, tons of interesting things to do, and some good beaches. It's also easy to get buses from country to country. My best suggestions would be Prague, Budapest, or Croatia. Croatia has great beaches (Dubrovnik, for example, but also all the islands), and historically is really interesting.Quote:

It just annoys me, he said he was going to come back last night but I never take his word for that stuff cos he always ends up getting held up at his sister's and given that he's got no money until he gets paid he can't get very far at the moment.
But it's like, ok, I'm going out tonight, but does that seriously mean I have no intention of speaking to him for a day leading up to it as well as however many days after?
I have no idea when he's gonna go home and get his phone and if he can't be bothered to then I can't get in touch with him. I have his sister's number and get on really well with her but I don't want to have to text her just to speak to him!!
