I got a card at 7.40 this evening, i wana be greatful but seems a little late for my liking

My right hand bought me some midget gems.

Genni, you said the sort of thing I was trying to get across to Alex, you did it much better than me haha.

I spoke too soon, Chris got me a big box of chocolates and a cupcake, now I feel bad for not getting him anything :frown:

I have the photo frame glowing away in the corner.
It's tempting to keep it on all night, but unfortunately, it's the opposite side of the room to me, so I won't be able to see it without my glasses.

Heh I got nothing. We didn't even have roast dinner because we were full of bagels :/. When we first started going out he'd come over with cheap flowers occasionally to surprise me, and I really miss the spontaneity. Kind of feels like he thinks he doesn't need to bother with that stuff anymore cos he's got me now, no need to romance me /cynical.

Well tonight has been lovely really!
Went out to dinner which was delicious, then came back and watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall, whole time he was being very cuddly and cute and telling me sweet things. :) Roommate left and we had fun times and then we took pictures of us and of a stuffed animal I have creeping, gonna make it into a GIF which will be funny I think.
I'm glad I have him to do goofy things with.

On another note my roommate is getting engaged this weekend. :O
It's a guy she's known about 5 years, but she just got out of a relationship a week or so ago so it's kind of rash it seems to me..but at the same time, this guy is someone who's in the Marines and to him, life is short.
It's just crazy to me since she's been out sleeping around, but she did say that when you're engaged to someone it's serious business, and it won't be hard to say no to other people.
Plus she did say regardless of engagement or not she would marry him, so she'd rather him go away knowing she said yes.
It's sweet but just so crazy to me, they weren't even speaking a couple months ago as far as I know.
I wish the best to her but I just feel like it may not work out for some reason or another, she won't see him for another few months after this and after that have to wait another year!

If that was directed at me: I know! He can be really lovely. He was really lovely this morning. But sometimes he's a right tool. I knew his dad didn't like me beforehand and was just trying to ignore it. Why bring it up on Valentines day? I get it, you don't like romance and you think valentines day is a bit rubbish. That's no reason to punish me you knob end. I still haven't had a christmas present either. And whenever I mention it he makes some rubbish joke that suggests because we had sex that that counts.

Ah well. I'm going back to the rents for five days. When I come back he'll be really super sweet and all "I missed you so much." I think I may even get some flowers. I know he's vaugly planning it ("Do we have any vases?" is a right give away)

its one year tomorrow and i dont get to see him :(
