That is sooo nice. For my ex's grad he bought me this heart necklace to ask me. I know I have it stashed somewhere but I'm not sure where.
I personally would never get married in a church and I don't see why someone would want to if they're not at all religious. As for whoever is 'faking the religion' to be able to get married there, you're only lying to yourself and being hypocritical. Why on earth would someone attend services and fake their way through it for 6 months just so they can use the building to get married in? It boggles the mind.
In other news, Robin said that once we've got our own place (he's saving for a deposit atm) he's going to start saving for my engagement ring ^_^ :D.
just because you wouldnt, why should that stop anyone else..
SOME ppl have a dream wedding, i always wanted a church wedding... thats my perogative if i want to lie to myself, st james's is a beautiful church, the grounds are lovely... so am i bogglin ur mind because i want it to look nice??? it gives somthin that a registra dosnt (this isnt a slur on anyone who got married in a registry office btw).
if i want to be a hypocrit thats my buisness an no f^cker elses , im not religious but id have my funerul in a church... does that make me a hypocrit too??
if it does, so be it.. again my buisness
also.. may make no difference, but i used to attend sunday school ect an do mass.... its only since i hit my older teens that i stopped..i stopped beliving
kthanx
It is a personal choice me and Mal personally choice to get married in a registry office as we didnt want to feel hypocritical in ourselves although we both love the arcitecture of churches mal is an out and out atheiest I am not relgious but am open minded and have my own beliefs :)
Its your day do what ever you want do worry about anyone else :)
Oh wow Dawn, I wasn't knocking YOU or saying you can't, no need to get so defensive and angry. I just feel strongly and don't understand it. I knew I should've put a stupid "don't get offended" disclaimer :/.
