I finished my slippers :biggrin: I'm so happy with how they've turned out, not perfect but really impressed for my first go without using a pattern! I'm debating whether to put a pink strap along the top to make them more mary-jane..ish?

Ahh they're so good phillipa! I think a strap would look really cute. You've made me want to start crocheting, I miss doing crafty things :P

I can't decide whether to do it cream with a pink edge or pink with a cream edge. :frown: Or I could just make both haha!

I *thought* I had bought a new (well s/h) lens, but it turns out the camera shop can't find it, so they have refunded. Annoying. Oh well.

Yuck! Yeah, mine is second hand too through a forums classifieds. Tamron 17-50mm 2.8. Have used the Canon 17-55 (hired) and loved it but don't have that much spare cash!

Did you take photography classes or self learnt?? its something that's interested me for a while and I'm finally in a position where i have the time and money to start.
