It's a teaching position in charge of a branch of SEN for a big school near me (quite high poverty area, next to Heathrow so high EAL etc). I was there for a few weeks on a placement at the beginning of the month so I know a decent amount of the kids and get on with the staff. I'd be responsible for provision for one set of special needs (either autism spectrum or profound emotional/social/behavioural) for the whole school. When I was there it felt like I'd finally found something that really 'fits'; just the idea of not doing this makes me want to cry!
Trying not to get my hopes up, because it's likely I won't get it. Grr.
