The landlord for my future apartment cut our deposit in half.... so this means we can get couches!!!! :)
Edit: Also, getting my mom's support for the whole thing. I was expecting her to freak out and be like "what if this happened? what if that happened?" like my dad was but she pretty much just said it'll be a learning experience, to do what I can afford, and that the worst thing that would happen would be that we'd have to move out. She even offered me a desk and dresser she has in her house. :)
