wipe all the other error codes so they test drove it along to Kirkham and back and it was still showing as fine. We then drove it to Lancaster and it just cut out on the motorway so we called the RAC (again!) who advised us to limp it home or recovery would be another £130 which we managed to do, took it back to the garage and the guy suddenly had tons of error codes again like he did before so he tried putting the old ECU back in incase that wasn't the issue so he could refund us the money for that only to get exactly the same codes but with "replace ECU" there as well so now everybody is stumped! Just want it fixed for good now please!! Guy was really nice about it bless him and as soon as we broke down and called the garage they were like get it straight back here and we'll sort it for you, think he's a bit relieved to have the pressure of us (well me) needing to get home off a bit cause he wants to test drive it out to Manc and back incase it cuts out after an hour again. Luckily nick is on my mums insurance and she's given us her car for the next week or so til we (hopefully) get ours back.
Jeez what an essay, sorry!!!
