My meeting got cancelled! Yay! Means I don't have to walk a mile in the snow, full of snot and cold and crappiness.
I should be doing uni work instead, but I'm so tempted to just spend the rest of the day on the sofa in my pyjamas watching TV now that I know I don't have to be any where.
Finally got a bunch of old comic books for my cousin's collection :D Technically it's "his" collection, but ever since I moved to the big city and got a bunch of old issues for him (and still do) it's more of "our" collection XD
I actually did productive things today, most of all though I rang the doctor to make an appointment. Hardly sounds like an achievement I know but trust me right now it is :)
Wrote 5 articles whilst my son was in karate :D
I had such a good day today - my girlfriend stayed over last night so I wouldn't be home alone and we went for breakfast in the northern quarter. And then I took her to one of my favourite shops in Manchester and she bought me a book :D
and then we went to go see Ex_Machina in a really cool cinema. This film is, hands down, the best film I have ever seen. It was INCREDIBLE and I'm genuinely probably going to go see it again at some point.
One of Nick's friend's and his girlfriend came round at like 6pm to play Eldritch Horror and we ended up playing that, ordering (and eating!) pizza and then we played cards against humanity and they're only just away home now. Had a really nice night :D
Oh and we booked our minimoon :D :D :D :D :D :dance2:
