FINALLY got someone round to fix the tv aerial! I can enjoy recording programmes now!
Having a paediatric nurse come and help me through some issues with my son which is good in itself but she also reassured me about a lot of things. I try my best and when things don't work out I can have a tendency to blame myself especially when school is asking me why something is happening instead of looking at themselves.
It's always a relief to find out that something isn't your fault :) I know that last year when I was working at a school for kids with autism I would feel really bad about the way the kids acted sometimes, thinking I was to blame. But it helped me to know that it was just because of their sensory issues or because their brains just don't work the same as those of neurotypical people do.Quote:
