And yeah I was thinking about doing that XD But first land the job. The biggest problem is that they do require me to put my hair up or in a ponytail. Otherwise I could use my hair to cover up the industrials. But ooh well. For the three labrets in my lips (snakebites, medusa) and my septum I already have the retainers. For the microdermal between my eyebrows I just take the top off and put my glasses on. Nothing to see anymore. And I think I'll just keep my tongue the way it is. All the jewelry on there is black so it is already harder to see. That and I have a bad history with acrylic in my mouth. The balls just keep falling off.
Think that should do the trick for them. If I got some retainers for the industrials too that is.

You could try a loose ponytail so your hair is still covering the tops of your ears!
I've been doing that on management visit days to hide my rook :)
My day has been fairly uneventful so far. I'd say the highlight has been going for a handful of JellyTots and pulling exactly one out of each colour.

A while ago I posted this comment. "Losing" that friend (it wasn't really a loss because she showed her true, very nasty colours) didn't exactly feel like the end of the world, but I was still pretty sad about it. We were pretty close and went out regularly, plus she was kind of "the leader" of the only group of friends I hung out with, which meant that I kinda lost them too, even though I didn't really enjoy being with them and their constant inside jokes.
However, because that happened, I grabbed an opportunity to make new friends that I wouldn't have grabbed before, and did make some new, far better friends. So it turned out for the best, so thanks, P, for being a nasty SOB!

Got my last ever rota for Lush.. it's weird seeing a week with only 2 shifts but eeeek it's all getting a bit real and exciting now!

This is a mixture of best/worst thing that happened today. Got turned down for a full time lecturing post where I'm currently a technician.....However I did get offered sessional lecturing hours covering the sessions while they continue to search for the right candidate....Plus I've got an option of reapplying if they re-advertise.

Having the smart idea of driving to the airport and paying for parking. £40 instead of £70 travelling to/from the airport (taxi to station, 2x train fare and a £40-£50 taxi on the way home as we get in around 1am on a Saturday morning) Stuff waiting for a taxi!! We used to have night buses from Manchester to Bolton but they scrapped them. Plus its secure valet parking and gives us free express security check-in :D

We discovered a farmer close to Bristol airport that's converted a few fields into airport parking and runs a shuttle bus. Sooooo much more convenient and cheaper than public transport!
Makes travelling much less hassle :D
