I got the impression that the plastic surgeons didn't want anything to do with it because it was a problem resulting from a modification.
When I was having daily trips to the nurse last summer, I made a point of paying for all of my dressings, alginate rope and antibiotics. I agreed at the time that it was all my fault and that the NHS shouldn't have to foot the bill... but when the private surgeons are just taking your money with one hand and stifling their laughter with the other... What else am I supposed to do?
I dunno. Anyway, with any luck it will be more successful this time. Fingers crossed.
