hydrocortisone 1%
simple everyday moisturiser
& Nivea :')
All on doctors orders )
I've tried all of those and they didn't work on me lol. I have such dry skin literally everywhere that it flakes off and if I don't moisturise daily it looks like I have scales. I swear by Vaseline Intensive Care in a big white bottle. It's incredible stuff. So is epaderm cream if you haven't tried that.
In terms of make up, it's worth investing in a good eyeshadow primer to stop the lids getting too dry :) You might also be better off with cream eyeshadows instead of powder as they have more moisture, and the primer should stop the creasing.
Epaderm hates me lol
i got given it for my legs and it literally made me scratch half my skin off!!
mine flakes and cracks too ... its horrid & im so self concious of it! but everywhere on my body does it :'(
Ive tried the cream before and it was amazing .. i just wouldnt know who makes it any more?
Because the majority of my face is dry i use a full face primer and it just makes my makeup slip off and when it settles it looks worse than if i just apply foundation striaght to skin!
Defo need to find a oundation that works too!
Sudacreme works so well on very dry skin.
I get eczema on my eyelids, cheeks, hands, arms, legs and shoulders when i go home (allergic reactions) and sudacreme makes it so much better.
For a foundation, have you tried the Lush ones? Because they are mostly natural they contain far less chemicals so are kinder on dryer skin. They're really good coverage as well.
Also I find that an actual eyeshadow primer is much better than an all over face primer. Different consistencies and whatnot. :)
So I bought the new Olay fresh effects bb cream off amazon on friday, it was delieverd today and I wore it instead of my regular foundation. I am so pleased with it. I have naturally oily skin and not once today did I touch my face and feel any greasy-ness. I think this may be my new thing instead of trying to find the right foundation.
Sigma make up brush washer mitt... WTF
Me and the Selfridges beauty hall is not a good combination. Bought lots of Jo Malone for Mum and treated myself to Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer... fingers crossed it's as amazing as I've heard.
I've had a revelation recently that I have dehydrated instead of dry skin, hence my flaky patchiness, particularly with foundation on top. I'm starting to take Omega 3, washing with cooler water and drinking more water. Anyone else suffer from dehydrated skin?
