I hardly ever use make-up so the stuff i buy tends to be good quality so I know it'll last.

i work odd times so getting up town to go to boots is hard :( I heard it was good but I have heard chanel is good too
My face is sooooo much better today, all non-scaley face again! Yay!
I think I might need the gel in the summer though as lotion might become a bit too greasy for me (and my nose), who knows.
ahhhh! this just confirmed my new-found love for this forum. piercings/tattoos/and makeup are the things i can't help but spend money on. I wouldn't want to calculate the amount of $ i've spent at M.A.C. over the past years but it really is worth it.
MAC cosmetics do last like ages thou
This is true, especially pigments. The one i use the most (old gold) Ive had since '08 and you'd barely notice any gone.
Alex, if you want a very matte finish for your wedding, I've heard very good things about Kryolan anti-shine setting powder which you put on top of everything. It's used by professionals. Linky Ebay.
For a matte finish I find most loose powders tend to do the trick! In my experience, most foundations that give a matte look are very oily, I use a No7 Matte Finish one which is AMAZING, but very shiny. I set it with a Collection 2000 loose powder which is like, £3? and it works a treat.
The only thing I will say is you have to put a fair bit on? But I hate my skin so much I don't mind having quite a lot on xD
