yeah same here i always figure it's powder there isn't really anything that can go wrong with it and as long as you always use a clean brush to apply your make up and put a little of the powder into the lid rather than dipping your brush into the actual make up then it should be fine :)

yeah they were my thoughts, because the likes of the UD naked palette (first) has 6m on it, but I'm sure I've had it longer than that and hardly indented the shadows at all, especially at £35 a go, can't afford to replace it as often as they want me too.
Like I have 10 inglot shadows and plan on buying loads at imats but it wouldn't be worth spending a lot of money on them if they were only to last like 6/12/18m, you know?
I'm looking at swatches online now, going to make a note of all the ones I want going to buy a 20 palette and 10 because I have half a palette filled already.

Naked 2 arrived today - can't wait to try it, but on first impressions, I think I prefer the colours to the original ones!
I didn't even know eyeshadows had a use by date on them - I wouldn't pay any attention anyway. I use my nose to tell if make up has gone off. Saying that though, my YSL Touche Eclat smells a bit iffy, but I'm still using it!!!

haha that made me laugh!
I got approved for my trip to IMATS, so I'm definitely able to go yay ^_^
&Yeah I've been using my original over my 2nd since I got it, never really used my first because I love my inglot palette :).

Makeup... expiry dates?
Made me think of this

I never follow makeup expiry dates, more rather whether it's gone nasty/goopy/moldy or not

Just placed a nice big order from Everyday Minerals, lots of make up for around £25 :D Ordered three mineral foundations (all ivory but it's what I normally use so might as well stock up), a seven piece sample kit (got one foundation, two blushers, two concealers and two eye shadows) and a smokey eyes kit as well. Not bad for the money
-
Which site did you order from, I'm quite interested in trying some new mineral cosmetics ^_^
+ Lol at that picture made me giggle! + Yeah, just thought I'd bring it up I tend to ignore it but my mam has makeup from YEARS (like 15 years) ago!

It's www.everydayminerals.com I absolutely adore their stuff (although haven't tried their shadows and liners yet so this next delivery will be fun :D). I've tried other mineral foundations and they just don't compare. It is an American site so postage is a little pricey but I think it's worth it since the make up is so cheap for the quality. The postage on this order added around £7 but that £25 I mentioned before was including the postage so it's really not too bad over all

I've just had a look and you can get them on cocktailcosmetics (UK based website). Just thought I'd let you know.
Seems pretty decent thought, really want some new blush colours in my collection of 3 (All Illamasqua) xD

Oooh I'll have to check it out. Thanks :)
